Painting
My paintings begin in the landscape — not as depictions of specific places, but as investigations into process: how terrain forms and erodes, how light shifts across a surface, how the organic and the constructed meet and blur.
Trained as an architect, I bring a spatial intelligence to the canvas — working in layers, building up and scraping back, as nature does. Materials are mixed — mineral pigments, chalk, earth tones — chosen for their physical presence as much as their colour.
The work is organised in series, each exploring a different threshold.
