A series of new work that explores landscape as process.
Rather than depicting a specific place, these paintings inhabit a threshold between ground and atmosphere. Layers of the earth - as my work with permaculture- ever changing. This theme accompanies me for a while now.

Weathering Terrain

This work explores landscape as process rather than image. Built through successive layers of mineral greens, muted earth tones, and chalky veils, the surface is repeatedly constructed and partially removed. Earlier strata remain visible beneath later gestures, creating a sense of sedimentation and erosion. What remains is not a view, but a memory of ground and air meeting.
Rather than depicting a specific place, the painting inhabits a threshold between ground and atmosphere, solidity and dissolution. It invites slow looking — and suggests terrain as something remembered, weathered, and continually becoming.
Not a depiction of nature — but a slow conversation with it.
